Our Mission
The Lower Cape Cod Community Development Corporation exists to promote a vibrant and diverse community on the Lower Cape by addressing housing needs and encouraging small business development and job growth.
We embrace this mission so that:
- There are more year round job opportunities at good wages
- Working people have a decent and safe place to live
- The outflow of working people will stop
- The values of a true community wide society are reflected
- People will embrace new business opportunities and trends
- The work of other housing advocates on the Lower Cape is strengthened
We know that we are successful when:
- There is an increase in the number of jobs at good wages available on the Lower Cape
- There is an increase in revenue/profits for small businesses
- There is an increase in the number of attractive, quality affordable housing units on the Lower Cape
- There is an increase in the number of people living in affordable housing on the Lower Cape
- The Lower Cape community views us as a valuable resource for housing and economic development programs and services
