Each year the Lower Cape Cod CDC publishes an Annual Report in conjunction with a meeting of the Membership. “Working and Living on the Lower Cape” was the theme of this year’s Annual Meeting and Dinner, which took place at Willy’s Gym in Eastham on Thursday, September 27th. The evening was a great success – allowing us to highlight the many faces of economic diversity on the Lower Cape, introduce new Board Members, express appreciation for current and past Board Members, present Community Hero Awards, and present the Gwen Pelletier Award to Ted Malone of Community Housing Resource Inc. History of the Gwen Pelletier AwardThe Gwen Pelletier Award for Excellence in Community Service to the Lower Cape Cod Community was created to honor Gwen Pelletier for her years of service to the Lower Cape Community. It recognizes individuals, businesses or organizations for their involvement and support to the economic diversity of the Lower Cape community. 2005 – The award was established and presented to Gwen Pelletier 2006 – Presented to David Willard, Vice President, Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank 2007 – Presented to Ted Malone, President, Community Housing Resource, Inc.
